Mika's Bio and Family Page
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, attended college at UC Berkeley and graduated with a Liberal Arts degree. After graduation, I did a lot of traveling, working and soul-searching, living in such places as San Francisco, San Diego (La Jolla), Hawaii, back to Los Angeles (where I met my husband), then ultimately settling down in Huntington Beach in 2000.
I worked in the entertainment industry while in L.A., at both Paramount Pictures and Columbia Tri-Star Entertainment, and loved it, but when we moved away from the entertainment capital, I was not willing to make that drive, so I chose to embark on a career I had been around most of my life - real estate (my parents have sold real estate since the seventies).
My husband and I have 3 lovely boys ranging in age from 15 to 5, and we love being involved in their school activities and hobbies, and have met many wonderful people this way.
We feel so lucky to be raising our boys here in "Surf City", as it is such a wonderful place to raise a family. Coming from a city where we had to close our garage door immediately after we took out our bikes to avoid everything being stolen, to taking 20 minutes or longer to drive to our market that was only one mile away, HB was such a pleasant surprise. We love the people, great schools, main street area, beautiful beaches and pier, great sports and all the other things that make this city great. We definitely plan to live her for a long time.
