Due to an overwhelming response to our first tour last summer, we are bringing it back for a second run this spring!
When: Sunday, May 18th, 2008, 1:00 - 4:00pm
The tour begins at Drew Park in the Summerfield tract, where we ask for a $10.00 donation for Project Self-Sufficiency, which helps low-income, single parents get back on their feet.
Once you register, you'll have a chance to meet with neighbors, eat and visit with local businesses, then go on a self-guided tour through upgraded homes in the neighborhood. It's a lot of fun.
New this year, we are proud to be sponsored by the Hilton Waterfront's SHADES RESTAURANT, who will be serving their famous crab cakes and giving out surprises to all who stop by their booth!
We are currently looking for homes to participate in the tour (this is a great way to support a good cause and display your beautifully remodeled home!). If you would like to be considered, please contact me at the number below.
Remember, we stress the utmost care of homes on our tour. Guests check in with greeters in front of every home, leave their large handbags and cameras at the door, and they remove their shoes or wear furnished booties inside.
You can feel confident that your home is in good hands.
We are also looking for home improvement vendors to set up booths next to the park registration area. For a small $50.00 submission fee, your company name and contact information will appear in the tour brochure, and your company will be seen by numerous local residents who are looking for home improvement ideas.
